A recipient of 11 varsity letters in Track and Cross Country, Tara is a graduate of the class of 1993.
Tara served as captain of both the Cross Country and Spring Track teams. During her four years at Nottingham,
Tara was named to the Trentonian’s and The Times’ All-County First Teams, The Times’ All-Area First Team,
and the Mercer County Champions Team. She was also named to the Newark Star Ledger’s 2nd Team and held the
record for the 5K home course. Tara held records in the 1600m and 3200m and placed 6th in the 3200m at the
New Jersey State Meet of Champions. In 1992, both the Trentonian and The Times named Tara their “Runner of
the Year”. In 1999, The Times selected Tara to its “All-Decade Cross Country Team”.
Tara went on to attend the University of Delaware where she continued to compete in Cross Country and Spring
and Winter Track.
