DARNILL BROWN

Described by his former coach Pete Leonard as “an unselfish athlete with the highest intellect for a player in his sport who changed the face of Nottingham Basketball”, Darnill is a graduate of the class of 1995.

He is the all-time scoring leader in basketball with 1,217 points, holds the record for most points in a season with 549, and was named to the CVC’s First Team as a senior. In football, Darnill captained the team for two seasons, was named to the All-CVC team as a linebacker in his junior and senior seasons, and holds the record for most tackles in a game with 24.

After graduating from Nottingham, Darnill attended Jersey City State College where he played both basketball and football for two years.
